Bipolar

I went to my sister's work the other day to tell her that she didn't have to pick something up for me anymore cuz we stopped by and the place was closed. She cut me off in the middle of what I was telling her, she then told me off and walked away. I called her a bitch and walked out of the store.

The next morning I see my sister in the upstairs hallway and she goes, "Are you bipolar cuz some girl at work is bipolar and she wanted to know cuz that's how she acts when she's not on her meds."

W..T..Freak? No, I'm not bipolar. At least the doctor hasn't diagnosed me with it. I am on antidepressants. But I'm not bipolar. I had a good reason to be pissed at her. (It's a longer story than what's here, but I don't feel like getting into it.)

And now people think I'm bipolar. Grrr. Whatever. Does anyone here think I'm bp?

You don't seem bipolar in any of your posts. Don't worry, I think your sister's just reading into things too much. trying to find an excuse for herself. Meaning...whatever you think she did she didn't do so that makes you crazy. Chances are you had a right to be annoyed or you may have been upset with her. People automatically assume when someone is in a pissy mood or just angry, they are bipolar but they often ignore the other end of it. The manic end when the bipolar disorder becomes REALLY HAPPY! Then everyone thinks the person is just happy and they aren't sick.

my mother was diagnosed as being bipolar... she has some of the weirdest mood swings... she also thinks that everything from global warming to white bread is a government conspiricy... that the cable company is spying on us through our TV's, and that she has a different illness each month... Givin she finally does have emphezima for real, but prior to that she would complain about every little cough or cold symptom like she had aids...

so yeah Bipolar prolly isnt good...

Not me. I have two friends who are bipolar and that's nothing, that's perfectly fine. I've seen them go from 100% happy to 100% sad and at that point you usually can't comfort them.

My first boyfriend was bipolar. You haven't suddenly felt really paranoid or against society recently have you? If you have then maybe you'll want to talk to a doctor. Seriously, I did a research paper on this subject because of my first boyfriend. If you have extreme mood swings that last for days on both sides, and you're suddenly feeling like everyone is out to get you then you might indeed be suffering from bp. However, from what you posted it doesn't sound like the case.
