Forget one of Johnny Cash , I want to see one of Lee 'Scratch' Perry.

Jamaican yardies , insanity , Bob Marley , hot Jamaican girls dancing , setting fire to his own studio.

Hell this would make a great movie.

Phil Spector , that would be another great movie , I think we`re also long overdue a movie about Keith Moon.

Which rock stars would you like to see have a movie made of their life?
 
I don't know if you guys have heard, they're making a Keith Moon biopic with Mike Myers in the lead role. Not too sure about Myers, but Roger Daltrey is executive producer. We'll see how it goes.


Personally, I could list plenty of great musicians who've led interesting enough lives, but I'm not sure there's enough conflict to give a good, interesting plot for a movie. Coltrane could work.
 
theres not really one i can say i really want to see (led zeppelin) because well i watch bio's all of the time.. at least one every second day.. either on a band or on random actors i like.. cause thats what i do.. its not really seeing into there lives that i like.. its learning about people.. i love love love learning about people..

How about a biopic on Rick Wakeman, who knows?...It could be a comedy smash, i mean look at him.

Rick Wakeman does his own one-man show which is pretty much a mini-biopic anyway. If you want to know about his life while listening to his music, see if he's still doing it.

He's an excellent choice though!
 
Seriously, even if you hate his music (which many people do) the guy is still one of the most interesting characters in rock, hes just about as strange as you can get.

Who should play him though?....I have David Hyde Pierce in mind for some reason.
 
Who's that? A few years ago I would have said Bill Nighy, but he's been a crazy old muso in lots of things already now. Judging by his stories, its not so important exactly who plays Wakeman, because his life is all about the weird **** that always happens to him.
