Biology teacher in Twilight?

does anybody know why they changed the name of the biology teacher in twilight? he is called mr.banner in the book, but in the movie they made it mr.molina... do you know why?
it's just a name... why change something as simple and as insignificant as that.... it's not like he is a major character.....
 
just because they can... theyve changed a lottt of scenes and they've skipped many scenes too....it's a shame...the book is amazingggg and so are the sequels
 
Probably just to make it different, I don't really know why, many of the scenes are different than the book, for example, like when bella meets Jacob (in the book) she meets him at the bomb fire, and (in the movie) she meets him in scene 2, when Charlie gives her the old truck for a homecoming present.
