Biology Question ? ? ?

Ok, so we got told that leaves use up energy for heat, because apparently they need to stay at 32 degrees. Well if this is the case then how come when you touch a leaf, it isn't warm?

Really bugging me.. if anyone could explain why that would be great!
ahhhh, makes sense now :) thanks!

I'm assuming it's because our body temp. is around 34 degrees (I think) so to us the leaf would feel cool or not really any temp at all becuase it's so close to the temp. of our skin.
