Biology Question on cells?

The smooth ER and Golgi apparatus

The smooth ER is responsible for synthesizing sterols, and the Golgi modifies and packages the hormones for secretion.

If this is a question from a class and requires only one answer, I would go for Golgi because they're stressing the fact that insulin is a secreted protein (always associate Golgi with secretion).

Insulin is a protein hormone produced by cells in your pancreas. The insulin is secreted by the pancreatic cells and enters into your blood stream where it works to regulate your blood glucose levels.

What organelle would you expect to be particularly abundant in your pancreatic cells. Explain?

Thanks tons!!
