Biology question. many drugs act as neural chemical synapses.?

Well the synapse is a location, so perhaps I can correct you "many drugs act at the neural chemical synapse".

You can tell that person that in these synapses, you have a chemical that sends signals through neurons by travelling from one neutron to another. Sometimes, drugs either make the response faster (stimulator) or they make the response slower (inhibitor).

For example, a chemical called Picrotoxin blocks your body's natural inhibitor called GABA, so it functions as a stimulator!
