how many degrees of freedom are there when i have only hairy-leaved plants crossed with smooth-leave plants *2 phenotypes* just to make sure i have this right it would be 1 degrees of freedom right? and "suppose your chi-square value is very large (>25) what does this indicate about your experiment and or hypothesis? and if i cross those two plants what is the phenotypic ratio for teh offspring 3:1 right?
