Hi all.
I'm not sure what to major in at my JC before transferring to a 4 year college. I eventually plan to get involved in molecular genetics, but that's far down the line. Right now, though, I'm looking at a molecular biology with a biotech minor as a good "stepping-stone" BS, but I'm wondering if I should bother getting an AA on the way, and if so, would it be better to go with standard biology or microbiology?
TL;DR, Should I declare Biology or Microbiology as my major to get to Molecular Biology/Biotech?
