Biology 12: how many types of mRNA/tRNA are there?

As in the title.

For mRNA, the U, C, A, G bases make up triplets, so 4 x 4 x 4 - 3 stop codons = 61 possible types of mRNA? Would it also be the same for tRNA?

Many types of mRNA (many different proteins) - the actual number depends on thegenome size. tRNA has theoretically 61 different amino acid coding forms.
