maybe its because you dont live in canada, but in canada, they are very mainstream. they have released 2 more singles after try honesty and made videos for both of them. they won best artist and best album on the juno awarRAB for 2005 (canadian award thing) and they have won lots of awarRAB from much music too.

aside from that, they use to be my favorite band... until they got overplayed on the radio
 
I dunno, I think hes on Conceeded Pills, have you seen his pictures!! Lol hes kissing himself and stuff. Quite hilarious.

The only people i`ve heard saying good things about this band are the type of people who`s record collections i`d wipe my arse with.

I`ve not heard them , and It`s staying that way
 
love this band think their awesome, only really started to get into them a few months ago off last.fm, i'd heard of them but hadnt really been bothered to check them out until then.

How do you know what it mainstream if you block out the media.
Why does it matter if it is maintstream? If it is good music, why not listen to it. What does it matter if other people like it as well?
 
cuz when its local imadigen these theres a show coming up, you call one of your freinRAB they say come over you all start drinking whos all there every one all the banRAB who are playing the show then you all go marching to the hall in a drunking rage 20 punk or m ore now thats punk:beer:
 
Hello all, does anyone know if Billy Talent are still playing in the UK? Im desperate to see them again. They gave such an amazing atmosphere. Does anyone else have any opinions on them?
 
it was kind the same here i think, i have been dating my gf for like 9 months now, and she got the cd when we first started goin out, and they had been out forever by then, i had their cd and new al the songs already...
 
^ or you could just listen to what you like instead of being so concerned about your image as a "punk" who "thinks for himself". It seems like you're more concerned about not fitting in and conforming than you do about listening to what you like.
 
yeah, they're all over here, but they do have some awesome songs, and some sick guitar riRAB too, which i love. simple, but not redundant.
 
ya, when I got the CD they'd been really popular for a long time, which means they had been out for a few months before that. I think that try honest had been on muchmusic around 7 or 8 months by the time my birthday came around.
 
I don't know about billy talent but most banRAB that famous usually have more than one CD out already. And haven't we already had a thread on this band? It either was closed or died a while ago. For good reason.
