Bikes dirty from out west but Purdy now. Pics

My Lady and I were out west and we got in some god awful weather...My wife says "your not going wash the bike till we get home are ya...I want people to see how and where we've been". I said "yeah I better take a picture of this in-case I won't be able to hold out and give her a bath".

Looks like you had some fun there! Yeah a road trip plays hell on the sparkle factor on the bike that's for sure, esp if you hit rain.

I used a pressure washer under-neath, Blue Coral High Foam Car Wash for soap. Never Dull by Eagle One on the Chrome, and More Shine Tire Conditioner by Stoner on the engine...The engine was my biggest problem because of the stains from the red dirt, this stuff works great, leaves no residue and does not burn off, I used it for years on my off-road toys. HD sells an S100 product called Engine Bright for $10.00, I never tried it, they say it takes off wax stains, so does my tire cleaner for three bucks and it's a bigger can.

on our trip to sturgis a few years ago .got cought in a downpour somewhere between deadwood and wyoming.had to get cover under a bridge .was fine when we went in but all the mud washed down on us .bike was very, very muddy.first time i ever washed a bike in a pay carwash.just look back on all the fun you had ride safe

Our trip started the 5th and ended the 13th we didn't hit flood waters but some of the secondary roads were pretty dicey...my wife was glad I had off-road experiance...I was having an absolute blast it's just my machine weighed about 600#'s more and I had a passenger to show off to...lol, hell I'm still smiling.
