Bike to Bike Communication...Anyone doing it???

Most of those devices have a limit of connecting a number of riders. What if you are out with your friends over 6 bikes?

I was thinking of those devices used by US military, any feedback on those?

You didn't mention what bike(s) you two were riding. But, this might be something you can use.
No experience with it though.

Price is a lot cheaper than installing an H-D CB/Intercom on two bikes.

I just saw these at a rally and the bluetooth is fully integrated into the helmet:

They said you can connect up to 4 helmets up to 1/2 mile apart. Plus you get fm radio with other music and bluetooth options.

Since I have the CB on my Ultra I bought a portable CB for my wife. I also bought IMC headsets (site sponsor) that can be used with a half helmet, or no helmet at all. And another headset for her 3/4 helmet.
On most rides we still use hand signals.

I have been using a chatterbox for years, passenger to rider mostly, it also has an MP3 input so I can listen to my ipod (in stereo). Overall I am semi-satisfied with the setup for the price. An issue has been adjusting the sensitivity on the mic as loud pipes will cause it to kick on/off.
