Hey, so I'm looking to purchase a road bike this summer. I intend to use it to explore and cruise around one or two suburban towns each ride at a fairly decent speed ( I'm replacing my mountain bike).
I also want to be able to use this bike next year in college for riding around campus and possibly the city or the town (so I want a bike that will last for atleast a few years)
Right now I'm looking to spend about $200-300 on a new or used bike.
Is this a wise amount for what I'm looking for? or should I plan on investing a bit more?
