Look for a commuter or hybrid bike from the local bike shop. Both will have 700c tires that are fast and efficient on the road. Google " bike shops xxxxx " with xxxxx being your zip code. You want to practice ridding more before you get out into traffic.

I just leaned how to ride a bike over the weekend and wanted to know what kind I should buy. It would save me a ton of money to get a bike since I live in the city, but I know absolutely nothing about how to pick one, what I should look for, etc. Can somebody help me out?
