Bike Nights

I've never really heard of such a thing over here and if they do happen then it would have to be in the relatively large cities. It sounds similar to an Ozzie sunday lunch at a pub except we probably ride 2 hours to get there and also take the long way home.

I agree that most bike nights equal squidies, cops, attitudes, and an accident waiting to happen.

That being said. I just moved from the SF YahArea, to North Cali Sacatamatoes, a few years ago, and I find that having NO bike nights whatsoever make me a bit homesick, and make me realize that along with the squidies, and bad attitudes also came the hotties, in thongs and heels that were only looking for something that they could ride hard.

All in all, I guess bike nights aren't that bad, and I sure wouldn't mind hooking up with some new people to go riding with in the canyons, and or a Ducati Groupie for the night.

+1 ,Brett...........,all my mates who ride cruisers have got the shits riding with some of the outlaw groups on their organised 'charity poker runs',due to too many stops[pub crawl],and not enough riding!!, the cruiser brigade just tends to go round corners way to slow for me,and my bm friends, just want to use the back tracks with no tar.,but they all clock up the ks.,and the service bills !!!.dont thinkthat your duc is the only thing copping big service costs. hj

we have a bike night every thurs. usually ppl show up n meet friends. occasionally there are new ppl that will mix in. i've been going 2-3 yrs now. ppl will roll through, all kinds of skill levels.

we used to keep our group to less than 10 ppl. more than that and u get too much attn. we've had large groups w/ the cops following up because complaints. at one time cops were harrasing every week.

but now my group of friends usually sit around talking. we have fun teasing each other for a couple hrs. i'm hoping during the summer we start riding more.

there are plenty of bike nights, you just have to know the people or how to find them. I personally don't go to them because it's a good way to get in trouble with johnny law.

I'm gonna try and start meeting up with the sac ducati owner group (DOG). You should look them up
