bike leeks coolant after about 10 minutes idling?

Hi, after my bike has been left idling for about 10 minutes the coolant gradually gets higher and higher in the expansion tank and finally leaks all over the floor from the expansion tank.

I have run the bike with the radiator cap off and there are no bubbles but there is a white frothy kind of solution that is on top of the rad fluid when the bike is first started up. I can also squeeze the pipes and they are soft.

What could this be? i havent had the bike long and i havent rode it yet. thanks
 
Don't bother riding it yet, first flush the cooling system and get all of the frothy crap out of the system. After you have fresh coolant in the system, THEN ride it and see what happens. It sounds to me like you have either a cracked head or bac head gasket and you're getting exhaust and/or oil into the coolant. Either way it's going to need some work soon before you destroy the engine.
