Bike for Girlfriend, approx £200 UK.?

My gf wants a bike for christmas, a kit of upright stepthrough bike with cross tyres.

I have a budget of £200 max but don't want to buy a total heap with very cheap components.

I would like a bike with QR hubs a micro adjust seatpost rather than the old spanner type and maybe some basic front suspension.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks

This one is not bad. Shimano components, but is quite basic.

The components are better on this one. This means that you should get reliable shifting and good parts life.

This one isn't bad. A good mix of Shimano and SRAM. Reasonable aluminium. Good manufacturer. (This is probably your best option, being only slightly over your budget. Better than the Raleigh)

This isn't bad, but I would still go for the Claud Butler.

A better Raleigh

Within your budget, give of take, these are the machines I found. Although your budget is £200, I would consider carefully before rushing for the Raleigh. The Claud Butler is a better machine, as is the Specialized (But this is definately over your budget).

Anyway, your choice.

Luck
