Bike (bmx) (mtb) size help?

Alrite im lyk 5 foot 8 and idk wat bike 2 get right now i ride a redline recon but im gonna need 2 upgrade i only wanna spend like 200_250 i saw the black eye mack which i bought a mirraco 3pc and i could put it in that then get a some 8" bars but idk if i wanna go 2 a mtb but there all out of my price range from what i can find
