Big Changes Slated for March

Let me tell you something. People who work in this business are not idiots. Doing something like that will bring the Federal government down on you so fast your head will spin. Cricket is a service provider and is protected by the FCC and several government agencies. Anyone doing something so stupid as a virus or disrupting service will be put in Prison.

IT jobs in telecom are a dime a dozen. Cricket is still advertising CCNA/CCIE positions throughout the company in markets.

The premier dealers in my area already flash phones. Have for several months now. I'm a standard.

Are you having as many problems as I am with CID not provisioning ZMM and WP0? I even had a guy in here last night the TXT did not get provisioned on his plan with a flashed phone on the $35 rate.

I talked to some employees at cricket, they said that the big changes are coming in the beginning of april. and they said the biggest change, is cricket is going nationwide! at least in the nashville area

If you are originally from VT and go back to visit, look at Metro PCS. They roan free on USCC which has great (as you know I'm sure) coverage. I was really hoping Cricket would use the same free roaming partners as Metro cause I was really hoping for USCC! I'm from NH and Sprint coverage is useless when I go home and visit in the lakes region. Oh well. Maybe eventually.

If they come out with a new nationwide roaming agreement, won't that hurt people flashing phones as well? Flashed phones will probably only work in the home area right? Can someone clarify this for me?

The Z6M is a dual band phone. Vegas is an AWS market. It won't get coverage there. Cricket branded or not.

But back to the thread topic..... You know, it's hard to take this stuff seriously because you hear rumors like this all the time on forums. But there seems to really be something to this. I'd just like to know where all these "birdies" are tweeting at, so I can see for myself what's going on.
Cuz here, we haven't heard anything about all that......

(and please understand, I don't work FOR Cricket. I just answer their phone calls lol)

Thank you so much for posting!! :)

What is the Mobile Video Service going to be like? It looks like it'll be a whole $10/month more, so I'm wondering if it'll be worth it.

Also, the navigation being included is good news!! :)

It also confirmed what the Original Poster said about Mobile TV. :)

Thanks again for posting. I really appreciate it. :)

I used to think you had some idea about what you were saying but after this post, not so much.

Which dealer has stores all over?
Nope, just in a few markets.
Nope again. The percentage part is true, but your nurabers are off. And again, not everywhere.Just clarify, nationwide coverage with roaming for the 10% of the population or so that wont be covered by the plans.
That's news?
Inaccurate. If your a dealer talk to your IAM for the truth.
