Say I want to buy an item that has one bid. The bidding is ending in 5 minutes and I want to place a bid so that my bid is the highest. Can I place a bid that is so close to the ending time or will it be too late? I don't want to place my bid when there's still an hour left because they might bid higher and I'll lose... Does anyone know for sure?
