Bicycling? Please help me with this!?

How would bicycling help me lose weight and gain muscle.... and how long should i do it a day? and would it even help and what muscles it would help with? PLZPLZPLZ help me... i am too lazy to run or take a super long walk so yahh
also how can i tone my stomach added to that? thnx everyone :) u dunno how much ur helpin me here
 
Cycling will firm and tone your legs and butt. You want to pedal at a fist cadence 70-90 rpm's with a lite pressure on the pedals. That will allow you body to use fat as a fuel and wont tire out your legs. You want to keep the pedal speed high and pick the gear that feels easy to do. If your muscles start to burn drop down a gear and keep going. You want to start out with a 20 min ride and work you way up. It may take a little while for your butt to get use to the saddle. Most people have to go through butt training every spring so don't blame it on the saddle. Cycling is a low impact sport so you can do it every day if you like.

Cycling will use your abs to some extent but you need to loose weight to have a flat stomach. It's imposable to spot reduce but cycling will help burn calories and eating right is just as important as the exercise.
