bicycles 3pc cranks ?

i have recently bought a bicycle and it had a 3pc crank if someone could help me out it would be greatly apprecited thank you
 
Congratulations on graduating from one piece "ashtabula" cranksets to the world of 3 piece cranks. Lighter, longer lasting, lots of advantages.


Now is a good time to get familiar withe Sheldon Brown's helpful tips and everything from cranksets to brakes. Oriented towards multispeed bikes, but it will be quite a help.
