When I'm pedaling on my bike and I stop to just coast, the rear cog is supposed to stop with the chain. Instead what it's doing is when I stop pedalling, it continues along with the tire and causing the chain to keep moving as well - usually resulting in it slipping off. The bike has been outside during the winter (I've been riding it) so could rust be the issue?
Is there anything I can do to fix it short of buying a whole new wheel?
Bonus points for not telling me to keep it inside in the future.
