I have my front on 2 and the back on 5. When i pedal down slowly, everything works fine. But when i start speeding up and pedal down harder, sometimes the chain "jumps". i don't know how to describe this but it feels like the chain is not secure and is "jumping". anybody help?

mmiller, He asks the question, you answer it. Got it?

Sounds like there's too much tension on your shifter cable. You will have to go to the barrel adjuster. It's fairly noticeable, its located where the shifter cable ends at the rear derailleur. You need to turn it clockwise outwards from the spoke. One-two clicks should do the job.
If that doesn't fix the problem, then it's most likely that there is not enough tension on the cable (Common Problem). I couldn't really identify your problem. So if that doesn't work, try turning the barrel adjuster counter clockwise towards the spoke.
