bicycle helmet age.............?

I live in ariziona and when riding my bike i notice that most ppl my age (14) where no helmet while riding a bike. What is the age to stop wearing a helmet? is it ok to still not wear one if you ride in your neiborhood?
 
The age to stop wearing a helmet is when you are dead! And wearing a helmet while you ride will prolong that inevitable outcome of life. Things have changed significantly to the point where those who don't wear helmets are the rookies taking stupid chances. Two years ago I got airborne, crashed and slid 25 feet on concrete, feeling my helmet hit the pavement at least 5 times. Not sure I would be writing (or even thinking) this if I was not wearing the helmet. A sign in a bike shop once read, "If you have a $10 head buy a $10 helmet." Extrapolate that thought: if you don't value your brain or your looks, don't wear one. I hope you do. Wear one and ride safe. Brain injury is PERMANENT.
 
You should always wear a helmet. I didn't wear one for a long time and a dog knocked me off my bicycle and I got seven stitches in my head as a reminder. You might think it is not cool to wear one, but it is better to wear one than go to the emergency room like I did to get sewed up.
I always wear one now. You never know what will happen, then it's to late to do anything about it after you have an accident.
 
You should always wear one. You`ll be the one alive if you get in an accident. You may be a good "cyclist" but you dont know about the other ppl on the road. Who cares what other ppl think of how you look.
 
DUDE YOU SHOULD STOP THAT MAKES YOU LOOK BAD. THAT WHAT I THINK. I THINK WEARING A HELMET IS DORKY. I STOPED AT 5.I NEVER LIKED IT.PLUS I GOT ONE WHEN I WAS 11 AND I CUT MY FINGER WITH IT. ALTHO IT A SAFTY TOOL IT WASNT TO ME. IT CUT MY F U C K I N G FINGER.I ONLY WOULD WEAR A HELMET FOR SOFTBALL OR ON A DRIT BIKE.WITH A GLASS CONETED TO IT SO A FLY WONT HURT U ON THE HEAD OR SOMETHING
