Bicycle Drop Bars......?

Ok, so, I have a few questions regarding drop bars for my bicycle. First off, I have a Schwinn Mid-Town, I love this bike, but I was wondering if there is any way that I can but drops on it. With this I am referring to the brake levers, and shifters, do I need new ones, or can I just use the old ones and put them in a different position? If I do need new ones is it just the shifters and the levers or do I need an all new set of brakes and shifters? Also, if I do need new ones, which ones do you recommend? Finally, I have a tire question. With the rims that are on this bicycle can I put 1.1 inch tires on it with tubes to match? Thank you for all your time!!

You can put drops on just about anything. Whether it's practical or beneficial...only you can decide.

There are numerous factors that come into play, with most of these being compatibility issues. Cost can range from $100 to over $500. Most of the time it's better to put the money into a new bike.

I have no idea what rims on on your bike.
