Hello all,

I have been thinking about what I might want to do with my life once I'm an adult. After a lazy school year on my half, I see that I really need to pay more attention to school work so I can go to the colleges I want to.

Anyways, I have been thinking about things that make me happy. And I thought about vet, but I think that even though you can save lives, seeing the same animals might get boring. ITS STILL A POSSIBILITY. But, I am thinking about Bible Study. I love Beth Moore and those kind of studies.

My Question is what do I need to do (college, experience....) do I need in order to do something like what Beth Moore (Bible Study author) does. I don't mean that I have to be big.. just teaching at local churches for women??

If you are thinking about devoting your life to studying the Bible because you like Beth Moore, then find another career. Don't get into professional ministry unless your driving motive is a passion for the glory of Christ to be displayed, for his teachings to be followed, for his church to be sanctified and transformed. If you really want to follow this path, you've got to throw yourself into the Bible, fall hopelessly in love with Christ, and come to the point where you desperately desire other people to know Him and live for Him. Everything else will take care of itself from there.

Otherwise, stick with being a Vet.

The first thing I would do is get on the full armor of God and increase your passion for Him. You can do it below, this is the church I go to we have a live camera feed with audio.

That's not the way, you should want to learn people Jesus way. Beth Moore doesn't use the money she urns in the way Jesus wants. God is no fool . A shepherd is responsible for the sheep that follow him

Check out some of the bible colleges, or Christian Colleges in your area, or if you are up to traveling, around the country. They will ground you in the Word, and you can major in teaching. You can even specialize, new testament, old testament, greek, etc. If you think you might want to go into broadcasting, some Christian colleges offer this as well.

College could be helpful to help you refine your writing skills etc. Bible college could be helpful to give you a solid background of Bible knowledge. But most important is to spend quality time with God daily, and to keep walking with Him. Ask Him what direction to go in.
The best Bible studies, in my opinion, are written out of experience walking with God and facing the challenges of life with Him, rather than out of head knowledge.
God bless!

You need to know what your spiritual gift is. You can get the test on the internet. I guess if you Type spiritual gifts you will get it. i don't know. but i did it in church and i come out as an encourager and that is just what i am and i love it. i do it in every walk of my life. God sends me people to encourage. So look at the gifts and ask God what it is.Then pick out a profession that you could use it in. And the school that will bring you to that place. Beth Moore is a teacher and a very good one at that. I have done 3 studies with her dvds and work books. but if you are a teacher don't try to be like someone else let God mold you into what He wants you to be. Lord Bless You. Ask people what they see in you as a spiritual gift sometimes they can see it before you can but you have to be involved with a lot of people to see what it is. There are books on it in bible book stores
