has anyone seen bewitched, i saw it today and thought it wasboring, there were some funny parts but mainly it was boring. just wonderd what other people thought of it

Yeah they deceided to do a film version with a bit of a twist instead of just remaking it straight from the original!
I thought it wasn’t that good apart from Will Ferrell who was quite funny in it!

Actually no I didn't read anything about it, I saw it a while ago. I don't tend to read about a film before I watch it, I prefer to make up my own mind.

Edit: I'm not stupid either, I can read, there is no need to capitalise your worRAB

It is very rare for somebody who likes watching films to not read any films reviews at all. I cant think of one person I know who goes to the cinema who doesnt read film reviews!
I dont know if Bewitched would have been better if it was just a straight remake rather than the film with a twist!

I didnt think it was that bad, it's a good example of an "exactly what it says on the tin" film..
lightweight, leave your brain at the door popcorn fodder
Will Ferrels overacting scene was pretty funny though

It's not the worse film ever, but with quite a strong cast, i was expecting something better.

I think it would have been worse to have done an actual remake of the TV show -especially as Elizabeth Montgomery is such a legend in that role. Some amusing scenes, but there was alot of wasted oppertunity.

I agree with Spike Lee that Hollywood is being so unoriginal with all the remakes and films of television series. Have any of them been amazing/bettered the originals? I've always been disappointed in those I've seen.

I loved the TV series of Bewitched and I have avoided going to see the film so far. I think Agnes Moorhead and Elizabeth Montgomery are pretty irreplacable.
Does Endora feature much in the film? Who plays her?

Shirley MacLaine plays Endora, or rather plays the actress who is playing Endora. The film wasn't quite as bad as I'd feared, but it does misfire quite a lot of the time. The whole concept - "a movie about actors re-making a classic TV show" is rather flawed to start with. Nicole Kidman (as Isobel, who gets the part of Samantha) gives it a good shot considering the material (although her somewhat air-headed character is no match for the strength of Samantha). Will Ferrell is not the ideal choice for a Darrin (although if you are a particular fan of Ferrall you may get more out of the movie than most). Certain plot lines are not sewn up (is the actress playing Endora really a witch too? Does she have a fling with Isobel's dad?) And, also inexplicably, they mix up what is supposed to be "reality" and fiction, by giving Isobel an aunt who is identical to Aunt Clara in the series - and is even called Aunt Clara - it just makes a nonsense of the middle section of the film.
I went to see it in the cinema - enjoyed it slightly more than expected, but also saw many flaws - the music is good though!. Ultimately it has made me enjoy the original even more. Buy the Season One DVD boxed set - it's fab!

Yeah there were some plots lines that were completly ignored at the end of the film. It was like thew scripters just gave up!
As Doobles said you never found if the actress playing Endora is a witch even though it is hinted throughout the film and also her relationship to Isabel dad is completly discarded as well as you never find out if they got together or not!
