I can understand not having seen the film before but not having heard of it is amazing to me. Maybe that's because I'm in the UK though and it seems to be on TV at least a couple of times a year.
Anyway I am a huge fan of the Beverly Hills Cop films, some of the funniest films I have ever seen and some of my favourites. Eddie Murphy is just hilarious in them and it's just a shame he doesn't make films like them anymore
I must have seen the films at least 5/6 times each now and I still enjoy them. I think the 1st is definitely the best but I'd certainly encourage you to try and see the others as well. The third one is seen as terrible by many people and it is quite an absurd film at times but I have a bit of a soft spot for it
There have also been rumours for years about a 4th film but so far nothing has come of it
