When Axel, Rosewood, Taggart and the Mayor are in the Police Station, the Chief of Police walks in and starts shouting at everyone. He turns to Axl and says something about phoning Inspector Todd and that he doesn't like Axel very much. Then we instantly hastily cut to a different camera angle and the Chief is complaining to the Mayor about the attitude of the officers and what Axel said back to him (but it was obviouly cut). The look on Murphy's face was as if he said somehting very derogratory and funny about the Chief. The outburst from the Chief is not explained, so something must have been cut! The Chief even calls him a degenerate when he's leaving. Just what said said there, and why was it cut out, does anyone know?? I'm been wondering about this for ages.
 
Never noticed that Paddy. Now you have stated will look if it's on DVD. There is only 1 deleted scene on DVD though and it's not that if it is left out.

Maybe IMDB will answer time being, bit busy at the mo but will check and advise.
 
I started a topic on the IMDB about it weeks and weeks ago and no-one seems to know there either. That's why I tried here. I would love to know what was said.

I checked the DVD you are correct (well maybe not).
The way it is filmed it appears they have cut something out from the movie, probably some predjudice of some kind with the reaction of the mayor 'I've never heard so much abuse etc...'.

However I have scoured the net and can't find any info of it, if it was deleted they haven't included it has an Extra.

Therefore I think it was never filmed and the scene is correct but now it looks like a bit is missing.
