I'm a little bit concerned about the water my betta fish is in. The water from the tap comes out a bit acidic. And when I've been testing his water it's around a five or a six. But the nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia levels are completely safe. I often get 0 for the readings. I still give him a weekly 20% water change. But I'm a little worried that this lower ph might give him stress. And I'm not sure about the water hardness. I don't really have a pet store near me, so I don't have a water hardness test.
He looks healthy, colorful, and hungry. But I just want to make sure that this water is OK for long term use.
