Hey guys,

I have a blue Betta Fish named Bam!
Right now he is in a 1/2 gallon tank. I know, i know. Thats way too small blah, blah, blah. I know.
Im planning on getting him a bigger tank, in fact I was just looking at a 10 gallon with a heater, filter, and light. But it doesnt come with any gravel or anything.
Right now his tank has gravel, so i was wondering if i should try sand this time? I dont know why, i was just wondering. Is this alot harder to clean?
also, can you think of anything else to put in his tank. I JUST got rid of his live plant when cleaning out his tank today, because he ate it! is that normal? I am feeding him! I dont know why he did that! Im planning on buying him a sil plant instead of a live one. Plus, i really didnt know hoow to take care of the live one =) haha.

thanks so much guys!!

xoxo,
kenzie

Don't go with sand, stick with gravel. Look in the aquarium section at Walmart, Target, etc, there are lots of things you can put in the tank. You'll probably want to get more fish when you get the larger tank, don't buy those from Walmart, go to your local pet store. There are several fish that don't do well with Betas and Walmart isn't very knowledgeable in that area. The plant won't hurt him so don't worry about that. Enjoy your aquarium!
