is it normal to have a brown thing at the bottom of the fish thank? or just white if it now normal to had brown at the bottom then what wong
 
erm i must say that by the way you say it it must be some molded chunk of old food but i reely need some details if im gonna answr ur Q very well.

OR if ur talking about your dead bettas body that is normally white that is now brown thats NOT normal and you should get rid of it..*sniffle*
