My male Betta fish was bought at a Pet Smart about a year ago. Who knows how old he is but that's how long we've had him. About a month or so ago, he got popeye, and appeared to be constipated. We treated the popeye to no avail. Now, he has a very red diamond shaped marking under and partially over his right eye. He mostly stays near the top of the water in a corner, but I do often find him swimming about. We change his water weekly, treat with aquarium salt, and he only shares space with two snails (they've been in his tank for about as long as we've had him). He can't see his food due to his enlarged, and possibly infected eyes. Any ideas?
