so i cleaned my betta fishes 1 gallon bowl right before i left for florida. he had a little bit of fin rot a couple of weeks before i left so i was treating him with some meds. when i came back his lower fin was like completely split in half and his body is being eaten away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have no idea how this could've happened!!!! i really need help with how to cure this, or weither i should put him to sleep if hes suffering. also, i really dont want to spend a lot of money on this, so i cant get super expensive meds or take him to the vet... 
oh ive also bleached his cage and rocks (dont worry i rinsed them out COMPLETELY) took out his live plant and little treasure chest thingy and added a little extra aquarium salt to his bowl
