Betta fish experts, please answer?

Every time I see her, she's either at the top of the tank, head facing up and body slanted, like this / and she's motionless, but I know she's alive because I see the front part of her fins (if that's what you call it), the clear looking part of the fins moving. If she's not at the top, she's at the bottom, sitting there horizontally and motionless. When she does swim, it seems so hard for her and because of this she moves in jerking motions sort of like to force herself to move. She lives in a good environment, same as the other bettas I have are living in, and they're fine, but I don't know what is wrong with this one. My best guess is swim bladder disorder, but I've fed a little less, but it's not helping. Had her just for a few months. What is going on, is it healable, and what can I do?
Serious answers please

Betta fish are experts a living in low oxygen environments, which is why you sometimes see them living under plants in certain tank environments. Your betta fish goes towards the top to breathe more oxygen-fresh water, while she chills at the bottom when she does not need as much oxygen.

Sometimes bettas have a hard time swimming sometimes because their large, beautiful fins are cumbersome and they have to jerk around to move a lot.

My betta fish does this same thing--hanging out motionless at the top and bottom of the tank and jerking while he swims, and he has been alive for over 2 years...so I wouldn't worry about it. If you are truly concerned or if her condition gets worse, take her to the local pet store and see what they say...

Hope this helps!

fish are very delicate creatures i have had tons of fish in my life and just last week one of my big "rose queen" fish died it cost me $500 dollars because they are rare. Its sad but its something we must face i bought her when i started college back in 2006 she lived for three years may she rest in peace!!!!

Its time to let go...

She's probably passing away :( im so sorry.
Did you house her with other bettas or fish? Maybe she got attacked?

what is the good environment?
bowl/tank?
filtered?
heated?
do you do weekly partial water changes?

your other bettas being okay are nothing to base her condition on, just like humans, some fish are weaker than others.
