I want to get a female betta fish to breed with my friends boy betta. He is over 4 years old, and she would be a little over 6 months old. would it work or what would go wrong?
There is a very very very low chance it would work as you normally need 2-3 females per male as unless you know there a good breeding pair, the chances are she wont like him and attack him or he wont like her e.c.t. so it would be better to get 2-3 females all different colours (i say that becos my male will mate with any colour but my friends will only breed with white females with redy pinky fins)
