beta and female beta fish help?

how big does the tank have to be to breed a male and a female
beta fish

10 gl. and a lil under half way filled. like 33 persent. lol

betas don't need alot of space. so a 10 gallon would do. I'm not sure though if betas eat there young. might want to check that if you dont know that. i hope i helped.
