Best young actors?

Why?

Very average acting in three very average films? They had massive box office appeal because they had popular books behind them, not because they were good films, and the acting in the two I had to sit through was wooden at best.

Jon Heder is the best young talent at the moment. Go and see Napolean Dynamite, and you'll understand.

Harry Potter is crap, and Radcliffe is pretty poor in that role, but he can act IMO- well there has to be a reason why he got it and several other good ones didn't.

Radcliffe just isn't suited to being Harry Potter.

Daniel Radcliffe is a terrible actor. He only got the part because he looks like Harry, he has improved over the three movies but he is nowhere near being hailed as one of the best young actors around.

Rupert Grint who plays Ron is very good though, steals every scene he is and completley upstages Daniel IMO.

Yeah, don't rate Daniel Radcliffe. Rupert Grint was the better of the young actors in the first two films, but Emma was very good in the third and could go onto better things (but hopefully will take good roles, and not general Hollywood trash).

No idea how to spell it, but Jake G...thingmy, who was the title role in Donnie Darko. Now that was a performance and a half, and possibly the finest by a young actor ever.

i laughed when i read this-i personally think he is appalling-one of the worst actors i've ever seen in anything-did you ever see the french and saunders parody of Harry Potter? really got Rupert Grint down to a tee!

Getting back OT i always thought Jodie Foster was a good child actor

Jake Gyllenhall, I agree he's a very good actor.

As far as Harry Potter goes, I think Rupert Grint is a great young actor who puts loaRAB of personality into his roles. Much better then Daniel IMO.

Scarlett is amazing. Lost in Translation is one of the most perfect films ever made, and the chemistry between her and Bill Murray is superb.

In years gone by, Thora Birch, Christina Ricci and Kirsten Dunst were good young actors, and have since proven themselves to be very good mature actors as well.

Oh...My...God...

I think I'd rather employ chimps rather than the young actors mentioned here - at least I'd get a realistic and convincing performance out of them...
