I think I have to go with 1993 or possibly, 1994. Personal reasons, mostly, since this was the point in my life when I really began to absorb music and take it seriously.

As far as historical importance goes, I couldn't even venture a guess on which year would be the best.

Yeah maybe 4/5 different threaRAB and polls asking the best from a decade, then add all those years in one poll after... A bit overwhelming with so many in one poll.

I agree, this is too difficult for me to decide because I was only born in 1988, and although I'm aware of music that came before then, it's hard to judge and compare when I didn't experience it fully.
