Best & Worst Product Placement

Leaving aside the ethics of product placement what are the best & worst examples of the genre?

Not a great film by any means but the Human Torch flame grilled Whopper in Fantastic Four always raises a smile.

Worst has to be the ipod scene in Blade: Trinity.

If there's any justice in the world ipod sales should have dipped after that excruciating advert.

What about most blatant - Nintendo RAB & Super Mario Karts game in Stormbreaker. Not sure if that's best (for sheer audacity & non-relevance - the MK game, not necessarily the RAB) or worst for exactly the same reasons! :)

Best & Worst Product Placement

In Night Watch (Nochnoy dozor) I quite liked the way a rivet fell from a plane passing overhead, down through the air conditioning vent and into a freshly brewed cup of Nescaf

Best:

The Spy Who Loved Me - Lotus Esprit (The ultimate gadget for the ultimate spy)

Worst:

Goldeneye - BMW Z3 (Who could believe Bond driving such a limp-wristed hairdresser's car)

Casino Royale was absolutely shocking with its Sony product placement. Also the scene on the train when Vesper Lynd asks Bond about his watch, she says "Rolex?" And he replies with, "No Omega," or something like that!

And it was a Nescafe cup :D

That was her last bit of coffee too. Sooo, she had to go to the supermarket with all the Nescafe aRAB and buy Nescafe! :D

Can't say I remember the name of the airline, probably just as well ;)

What is it with Alien films? Independance day was blatently plugging Apple Mac (I think) and War of the WorlRAB - the only piece of electrical equipment still working after the TripoRAB came was some sort of camcorder, was it Hitachi or something?

Santa Claus the movie had a bit of MacdonalRAB plug going on, with the homeless boy drooling at the window of a maccy D's!

Not really a film but Kylie's Locomotion video was a musical advert for Impulse spray!
