Best way to move tropical fish 5 hours away?

I have done some research. I have 5 adult platies, 1 adult molly, 3 adult cory cats, and 1 3" pleco. What would be the best, least stressful method of moving them? Do I need to starve them for 24 hours before the move? Is the bucket or bags in a cooler method better? Do I need to bag up my gravel and filter? Is there any preparations that I need to do? Will well water hurt them since that will be the water I will be using when I get to my new home? I have had these fish for over a year so I don't want to give them away nor do I want them to die in the move.
I don't want to ice them or kill them :(
 
Try and bag them in big ziploc baggies, But try and keep them in small little groups, Like 2 or three per bag. And try to stay away from highways and bumby roads if you can. If they day if hot, maybe put the bags in a cooler and a FEW ice cubes in the cooler as well, but, not a whole bag of ice, don't want to freeze them. If you have a car with bad shocks, ask someone a freind or family member with a car and good shocks if you can borrow their car. And just keep the regular feeding times. And try and make sure the bags/ cooler don't around to much.
