Best way to live out my dream in of raising my family in a more rural area...

...with a garden etc? I want to live a more peaceful and greener life...My life will still involve most normal things but I am wondering what kind of work my husband and.or I could find in the country? All these nice towns with cheap houses have no jobs..I guess for a reason but what's our best bet? He has a Masters Degree but is a security guard cause his degree is useless and I am in school
 
im 16 and im gona do a big favour for your kids by tiping the scales abit,..dont live in the contry... it sux, its not fun and us kids dont get any life lessons from living with animals we just become anti social retards and end up smokeing pot in the many spots there are on a farm. i dont know exactly how to word what im trying to say but living in the contry prity much just isolates ur kids from socioty and they might end up steeling your car just to get to somewere less boreing
