how are you cooking them?
boiled- use chicken broth instead of water and add onion and garlic clove to the pot while cooking
roasted-use Good Seasons Zesty Italian dry dressing mix and olive oil roast at 375 for 30 - 45 min depending on type and size
pan fried--add the drippings from about 6 slices of bacon to 4-6 tbs oil in a hot skillet add potato slices and sliced onion, garlic, salt and pepper and cover for 10 min on med heat then uncover stir and increase heat to med high cook until browned. don't stir to much at the beginning or your potatoes will fall apart
