I’ve kindly been given a pork shoulder from a family butcher as a gift. so Ive decided I want to try and do a nice pork roast for my boyfriend tonight as a treat.
Problem is I’ve never cooked pork before and I'm worried I might mess it up!
I want to do it with some roasted potatoes and vegetable in honey & thyme maybe??
Any tips/advice on cooking the pork shoulder... how to thougrally cook it for enough time but still keep it moist – anyone know a nice spice for the meat for flavour perhaps?
Also, how to do the crackling?
