Best use of time in the gym?

I'm 40 years old, 5' 11", and in decent shape. I've worked out pretty consistently for a long time, but I'm looking to step it up a bit. I run three times a week (4 - 10 miles per run), and I want to shake up my gym workout to make the most of my time and lose about 10 pounds. What are your recommendations for the best workout to complement my running, if I commit to 3x/week for no more than 60 minutes each session? Thanks in advance for your responses.
