Best type of music ever invented.

I'm gonna add another one to the list: Symphonic metal. Extremely underrated genre. Usually very talented.

Rock is-in a sense-making a comeback. However, its not in the form most of us would like it to. Its coming back into popularity with Fallout Boy and Hawthorne Heights, and backs like that. Really crappy rock that involves little talent and no good live shows.

But blues singers of 1920s onward must have thought the same thing when british and garage banRAB started popping up later on. Its like the evolution of music. Its inevitable.

And I still stick with Symphonic Metal/Rock as the best music EVER. Though I'm getting into more and more Prog.

I'm just going to answer the question and not go into a 'which is more popular' debate.
For me I have three favourite genres. Rap, Indie and Punk (which I know hardly anything about)

I mean Indie as in the style of music, not the Independent label kind of Indie. If only they had 2 different names so everyone wouldn't get all confused.
