they were all dead, yep, walking around dead as a doornail - didn't you guess, it was such a big shock at the end to realise that it was like a time-vortex thing going on, in fact I'm just going to pitch a film to Hollywood right now where the twist at the end is that they're all dead as I'm sure they won't think it's been done before or if they do I'll just do a "the woman's really a man" twist instead
