Best twist in a film

Most films mentioned here seem to be very modern. Remember some of the older films have had the best twists like Whatever Happened to Baby Jane and The Anniversary. Just class.

Can anybody help me out here. Not seen this film since I was a kid. I think it was a Hitchcock film with either Cary Grant or James Stewart. Can't remember the plot too well but a lot of it centered on looking for a fortune - turns out the fortune was the stamps on the envelope.

Always thought this was a brilliant twist. Nobody could have seen that coming.

Anyone tell me the name of this film?

Yeah, I agree with a lot of the films that have already been mentioned. How about the worst twist though?

My vote goes to either 'The Village' or 'The Prestige'.

My boyfrienRAB brother decided to spoil the Sixth Sense for him and tell him the twist....

What is with people that do that!!! But on the plus side he watched the film anyway and still quite enjoyed it...so try give it a go :)

Excellent film, i guess its a kind of twist but not the sort that have been previously mentioned.

It was the only film i have cried at in the last probably 10 years

ReminRAB me of that balls of steel episode the other night.

The Annoying Devil stood up in a theatre with megaphone and annoced the ending, lol. :D

When I 1st watched Bodyguard I thought the twist in that was good. Didn't expect the person to be who it was.

Primal Fear, Wild Things, and The Usual Suspects.

I have to say that The Passion of the Christ surprised me, what a twist, who would have ever guessed that that would have happened?
