Best twist in a film

No doubt this topic has been covered before but i was asked this question last night..."whats the best plot twist i have ever seen in a film?"

Hmm i watched "The Usual Suspects" the other week and thought that had a good twist at the end.

Anyone else got any more? As i would also hope there were a few recommendations of films to watch.

Cant beat a good twist :)
 
'Sixth sense' (though I saw it coming) & 'Carrie' (the hand coming out of the grave), immediately comes to mind.

Also 'Primal Fear'.
Edward Norton was brilliant.
 
I thought The Usual Suspects was pretty obvious. I didn't see Saw coming but that's because it didn't make any sense.

I liked Identity, and my favourite would be Fight Club.
 
All the twists in films these days usually revolve around the characters already being dead. I don't know how many times that's been done now.
 
Yes, I totally forgot about Fight Club - that was a very interesting twist, much more unexpected than The Usual Suspects, although that was just a good film anyway.

What a genius. :)

Sleepaway camp (1983).
Very camp movie but the ending has one of the most disturbing twists you'll ever see. :eek:
 
Yeah i mentioned Wild Things as a film that was full of twists and turns. Good film from what i remember!

Im intregued now by the other film you mentioned...is it worth watching?
 
Well sleepaway camp is a low budget, cheesy sorta slasher movie with bad acting and the usual teens staying in a caravan park.

But the twist at the end is what everybody remembers this film for, and it will leave you staring at the end credits in shock for a couple of minutes.
After seeing it you'll want to rewatch the movie to spot alot of things you did'nt notice on 1st viewing.
